Great late night food
Amazing & delicious food! Will definitely return for their amazing lunch menu at the best price in town!
Good food fairly priced good service
Love their egg flower soup. Spring rolls are very delicious.
Excellent food, GREAT service, one could expect anything more then these people give, I would give them a 10 if I could. NOW one of our favorite places to go. VERY, VERY good food. and I thank them for giving the service and great food that they do. I wish more restaurants could learn from them.
Great food and big plates of food. Well worth the money!!!
AvoidThe food here isn't that appetizing, the dining floor needs to be spruced up, the prices are way higher than the other 2 Chinese food restaurants in astoria.Just gi somewhere else, the food sucks here
Golden Luck serves really great Chinese food, and it's also the place for the best Christmas Day dinner ever! The egg rolls are HUGE and delicious. Each roll is battered, then deep fried, and then cut into three large pieces. With a side of noodles, or rice, they would be a meal by themselves. Yummy, yummy, yummy! We also had the curry beef, pineapple chicken, and chop suey, they were all amazing. Every single ingredient, in each dish, kept it's own unique taste, nothing of each item's taste was lost in the process of blending or mixing together so that each flavor can play on your taste buds. We'll definitely be back.
Excellent food and great staff. Very nice people.
Prolly have dined there a dozen times; it's always excellent! Shrimp is juicy and succulent. Kung Pao chicken was just the right amount of hot. A pleasant atmosphere and cordial service. 4 🌟 s out of 5!!!!
Love the food and the atmosphere always a fun place to meet up with friends or just have a drink and some food on the way home..
For my honeymoon I stayed at Atomic Motel, directly in front of Golden Luck and the Owner if Automic Motel told us to try Golden Luck if we loved authentic Chinese. We quickly settled in and walked on over. This place was not only clean, it was lovely. The place was very peaceful and very friendly. The best part of course was the food. I had the orange chicken, first off- rations are HUGE, second off, it’s true authentic Chinese food, is know because I’m a foodie. The tempora batter fried orange chicken was so sweet but crispy, it was honestly the BEST Chinese food I’ve had. The chicken was tender and the sauce was gracious. My husband had the teriyaki and the sauce again, was more than gracious. The chicken was so juicy and tender, but perfectly grilled, it’s hard to have ANYTHING bad to say about this place! Just go there, you won’t regret it!
Best Chinese in Astoria. Best ribeye in town. Try their $5 burger and fries too!
Very good, been frenquiting another restaurant in Astoria for 40 years, not so good no more!!Golden luck tasted very "fresh" and looked very apealing. We will be back!!
Good mid-Chinese cuisine. Great location in Astoria. Food quality + amount+ price, above the average for this cuisine. Attentative service a plus. Recommend highly for lunch or early dinner.
Very basic. Doesn't really taste good. Cheap though...
Absolutely amazing food and customer service! Thanks for being here!
Great staff & service. Wonderful food. Quiet and relaxing.
Where can you go to get two full meals with leftovers and too strong cocktails for $35? And the local action's kind of fun a little crazy and little off, I love it. Food was great in my wife's kind of picky.
Great friendly service and food is delicious and plentiful! Our favorite Chinese restaurant to go to!
Food was delicious, service was a little awkward.... But still, good food so we will be back next time we visit the beach!
Not very good food or service
This place has great portions and prices. Lunch specials range from like 6-10$ and are easily two meals. Pictures are our leftovers we are taking home
The food is well prepared and the staff is kind enough. However over the past year, portion size has gotten smaller. I like the food, but prices have risen and portion size has gone down.
It's easy to mock any Chinese place that has burgers on the menu (or in this case a fairly wide selection of diner fare on the last page). But to do so here would be colossally unfair; authenticity might not be found in chop suey or the chimichanga-size egg rolls, but it's friggin' delicious. It's 1970s-style Americanized Chinese food at it's absolute best.
The best Chinese food on this side of the Columbia River... and the other side too. Service is amazing. Staff is friendly and consistent. Food is always fresh and piping hot. We celebrate Christmas here every year.
Great food and good service!
Very well made 'Chinese food's for americans!
It is a locally owned restaurant that nails it as an American...Chinese restaurant. Good food and reasonable prices. For an adventure, go with a friend and have one of you order a any three meal and the other get walnut shrimp.
Golden Luck Restaurant is in Astoria and it is very good! Everything is clean and place is always quiet when I eat there. I always be sure to eat there when I'm in Astoria. The prices are very reasonable too, which is really nice... good food with good prices! If you enjoy Chinese food you will like Golden Luck :)
Always big plates. (Usually share a plate) Good food for the price.
Typical Americanized Chinese food that is an excuse to have a bar that really keeps your doors open. Nothing to write home about except for cheap lunch prices. Food tends to be on the bland side. Service is pretty impersonal but decent. They recently did a remodel.
Staff was friendly food was AMAZING!! Although I will say the gentleman that seated us was very rushed and didn't seem overly friendly, everything else was perfect and like I said the food was delicious!
They have good food not to busy and they can section off part of the restaurant for an actual party with a very big table. Their to-go is very quick and generally their phone pickup is very prompt. Yes, they do have a bar in a separate part of the restaurant. It is child friendly and family owned.
Worst service ever. Waited over an hour for our food, and it never came. Had to leave and go to Pig N Pancake across the street. Don't waste your time here
Best chow mein I ever had!
FAIL!Food is overall good. Fresh hot.Now as Far as the service. Buckle up..I come here often but today is my last time coming in. I had both my children +1. We got our water fine. We where staking dishes to the side to be picked up as we where finished with our dirty ones and always stalk them for the servers. The dude NEVER picked them up! Just watch the pile grow. Which made less room on our table with children reaching. When server shoved the to go boxes in other person at my tables hand it forced his hand to shove into the water glass wich spilled EVERYWHERE.THE DUDE THEN AGAIN did NOTHING. not even offer us a towel as myself and my children got soaked. Unbelievably rude and shocking behavior. #NAPKINFAIL #serverFAIL
Best Chinese food in Astoria . Really big portions and very friendly service 🍤🍜🍹
The food is great best Chinese food in town and most spacious dinning area great atmosphere . Very traditional. Always friendly an very fast to !
Good food, generous portions, fast service.
Great specials, friendly service, nice atmosphere
Excellent food! Had dinner with a group of friends. We sat in the lounge and Michelle was fantastic! She gave us exactly enough time to decide, service was prompt, accurate and friendly. I would highly recommend sitting in the lounge. 👍👍 Michelle! You're awesome!
The food was of exceptional quality and the service was fast. The menu and specials are extensive and the prices quite reasonable for the surrounding area. The later hours and easy parking also make Golden Luck quite convienient. The sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, green bean chicken, and egg roll were all quite delicious. While we were there, some of the other guests were having an extremely loud, crass, and profane conversation, to the point where several of the other guests also seemed to be bothered. Thankfully, our server was gracious enough to seat us elsewhere. This place should easily become a local favorite as long as its prices stay the same. I look forward to eating here again.
I use to go there as a child but had not tried it since the newest owners took over. We were very pleasantly surprised by the extremely kind but very efficient waiters. The food was not only delicious but the portions were GINORMOUS!. The prices were good also . Not expensive for what you get. Do try it, you will be happy with everything.
Some food inconsistencies. I ordered chowmein and it tasted like fish. My pot stickers seemed doughy which was a first. I would also add that it's odd they have little children and an area, with in the resteraunt, that appears to be a catch all for the toddlers and children running around. I understand, and think it's great to be able to have everybody helping each other. It's just odd to see in the dining area.
Pork fried rice had weird flavor, but good food good therwide
Good was ok, service non existant.
Lunch menu was very good..lots of specials and best sweet and sour soup.
Good food, big portions and super cheap!
